Setting intentions for the December New Moon and the New Year

The vibration is rising on this planet and throughout this realm. As it does, it facilitates manifestation in all forms. New moons also assist manifestation, and there is a new moon in Capricorn just a few days before the start of a new Gregorian calendar year – a traditional time for people to set intentions for the coming year. So, why not bring forward your intentions by a few days and harness the new moon AND the new year?

This coming year is a ‘1’ year (i.e. 2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 10 = 1), which follows the ‘9’ year of 2016. ‘9’ years are years of endings and completion of cycles, while ‘1’ years are years of new beginnings.

I know some people may see 2016 as being a year of new starts; for example a woman who has been trying to start a family finally gives birth in 2016. Let me explain, this is a completion [of a goal] set earlier in life, to allow new starts in this new cycle about to commence. Perceiving and understanding the nature of cycles in life allows one to go with the flow. It is easier to swim with the tide rather than against it.

The new moon in Capricorn will occur at 5:53 pm Australian EDST, 1:53 pm Indochina time, 12:23 pm India time, 7:53 am Western Europe time, 6:53 am UK/GMT/UT,  and 1:53 am Atlantic time in the Americas, all on Thursday 29^th December. For those on the west coast of the Americas, the new moon will be 10:53 pm Pacific time.

Always remember that a life of joy and abundance is your birthright in this Universe. Accept you are worthy and show gratitude.

Welcome 2016

The importance we place on numbers ensures that the energies of 2016 will differ from that of 2015.

As we close the book on 2015 and welcome 2016, it is not as simple as the stroke of midnight on December 31 instantly changes from one vibrational energy to another. Rather, as our focus changes from one year to another, our subconscious and the collective subconscious aligns with the vibration of the new energy.

2016 is a 9 year (2+0=1+6=9). The number 9 represents the completion of a cycle, being the last single digit. It is also as far away as one can get from unity (number 1), but ironically 9 always gives way to a 1 (i.e. 2017 will be a 1 year – a year of new starts, fresh beginnings and unity). Do not be surprised if in 2016 you find yourself more driven to releasing the past, cutting ties, changing work, home; basically anything you feel has energetic ties to the past that is holding you back. You will be completing cycles on many levels.

This year will also see further change in the world. The words I keep getting are transparency and disclosure. All that has been kept secret and hidden in the dark will be exposed. Many are comfortable with the illusion (and to quote modern culture, “many of them are so injured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it”) but there is no going back, as the light is here and is growing. Reactions will be as varied as there are souls walking this earth, but it is important for those that understand the necessity of this process to maintain their centre. Remember that 9 brings the end of cycles.

For those walking a path of enlightenment, the last few years have brought growth, often through challenge. This is always the way of the trailblazer, but the closer we get to the end, more will awaken, and the path will become clearer.

I always like to add a certain amount of ceremony to the start of the year. I am fortunate to be near a beach in a warm climate, so I took the opportunity to swim in the ocean. I will also do a smudging, then spend some time in nature grounding the energies of this new year.
