A confrontation of free will and divine timing

We are experiencing a confrontation of two powerful forces – that of free will, and of divine timing for change. This is being experienced both on a personal level and a global level, and the two are intertwined as the individual affects the collective consciousness and the collective consciousness cannot but be affected by each individual’s state of consciousness.

As sovereign beings of light that have chosen to embody in the flesh of the third dimension, we have free will. While the energies prompting humanity’s awakening continue and accelerate, we will find that choices becomes starker. That is not to say the choice becomes more urgent, because that would be limiting one’s thinking to linear time. No, the choice becomes more black and white, whether you think of it as service to self and service to others; light and dark, or love and the absence of love. There are always possible timelines because there is always free will; however, as low probability timelines collapse we arrive at fewer, contrasting timelines. The perception is one of polarization.

It is at this point that it is important to go within. The events of the world and society, and that happening even closer with friends and family, can be looked on as evidence of pending change in our worlds, and of course the external is a reflection of that which is going on within.

I would urge you all to spend time in contemplation and meditation. To visualize the future timeline you wish to manifest. To ground yourself and listen to Gaia, who is undergoing her own changes and looking for the support and love of her inhabitants. Truth and direction can always be found within. Remember that what we resists persists, so it is important to focus on what it is we want to see in Nova Gaia. When we focus on the negative, we give it energy and prolong its life.

We do indeed live in interesting times. May you be blessed, and choose wisely. xo

Energetic cleansing using the elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air

There is something very primal about using the elements to cleanse our energetic bodies. Given we are made from the same matter as Mother Earth, utilizing the four physical elements is a way of connecting us back to our roots. And one does not have to be in the middle of a forest to utilize the power of the elements … for someone like myself who lives in a city, utilizing the four elements for cleansing the energetic body helps maintain a connection with and grounding to Gaia.

Cleansing of the energetic body should be a daily ritual. Our interaction with others and with locations and objects holding energetic fields means that the purity and balance of our energetic bodies are constantly compromised, so a regular practice of cleansing is needed for optimum spiritual, mental and physical health.

Etheric beings of the elements

Each element has etheric beings – or elementals – that are associated with it. In different cultures and traditions these elements have different names, but some of the more common are the Slyphs of Air, and the Salamanders of Fire, the Undines of Water, and the Gnomes of Earth. When working with a particular element, calling on the relevant elementals further assists in the cleansing. Be sure to offer your thanks to the elementals at the end of the ceremony.

Note with the methods below, they can also be used to cleanse objects. I use them to periodically cleanse crystals; but they can also be used for any possessions that you may feel are in need of cleansing. Also, anything you acquire, new or old, should always be cleansed of any energy that may be present from someone else who may have handled, made or owned the object. This is especially relevant for anything close to your person such as clothing and jewellery.

The Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air

  • Stand barefoot on the ground. Imagine there are roots coming emanating from the soles of your feet going deep down into the earth. Ask the earth to take any negative energies from your being deep down into Gaia.
  • Plant life has roots into the earth. Hug a tree, or sit against a tree and allow the tree to be your conduit to take the negative energies from your being into the earth.

  • Immerse yourself in water, preferably flowing water as the flow takes away the unwanted energies from your energetic field.
  • Swim in a stream or an ocean.
  • While having a shower, feel the water washing your energy field clean.
  • Stand in the rain (preferably barefoot on the ground).

  • Allow your body to be exposed to an appropriate amount of sunlight.
  • Light a fire and allow the warmth to radiate to your body.
  • Use the light and the flame from a candle (at an appropriate distance) for meditation – allow yourself to ‘enter’ the flame and be purified, as alchemists have done for generations.

Note: all elements should be respected, but always be careful with fire, and never leave a fire unattended.

Air: Heart Chakra

  • On a windy day, allow the air element to blow away any negative energies from your energetic field.
  • Focussed breathing techniques (I often practice the alternate nostril breathing using a guided meditation) bring your full focus to the self and the element of air.
  • Work with feathers to utilize the air element and use the direction of the feather to move the air over yourself or an object.

Bīja of each element

Each of the four elements also has a single syllable mantra (or bīja) that resonates to it. Using this sound creates a strong resonance with the element, and will assist in cleansing. Note that many people misunderstand these sounds as relating to the four lower chakras of the seven chakra system in the body; however this is not entirely correct. These sounds resonate to each of the elements that are associated to each of the four lower chakras.

The sound for the Earth element is LAM, which is generally associated with the base chakra.

The sound for the Water element is VAM, which is generally associated with the sacral chakra.

The sound for the Fire element is RAM, which is generally associated with the solar plexus chakra.

The sound for the Air element is YAM, which is generally associated with the heart chakra.

These sounds can be used by themselves to work with a particular element, or can be used with the methods listed above. As you repeatedly chant the bīja, do not rush the sound. Listen to it and feel it penetrate every cell of your body. When used with objects, say the bīja over the object and allow the sound and your breath (carrying the energy of the bīja) to cleanse the object.

One of the most effective methods that I like to use is smudging, as the smudging ceremony includes all of the four elements: the plant material (earth element) in an abalone shell (water element) is being burned (fire element), creating smoke (air). Be sure to return the ashes to the earth after the smudging.

It is all about Intent

We are already attuned to the elements, and the symbolism of using the elements, is to focus our intent on them to boost the effect.

May your energy be clear and your path be one of ease and grace.

Focus on the NOW moment

Now more than ever it is necessary to focus on the now moment.

Distractions of daily life have created a habit where we do a number of things at once, or do certain things on auto pilot – not really focusing on the task at hand as there is so much more stimulus to absorb.

If this is you, you may find that things are getting a little harder.

You may find that your mind is becoming prone to lapses of concentration and memory, and you may be seeing or hearing more than the normal spectrum of sight and sound for a human. You may be finding you drop things, get dizzy, have bouts of vertigo, forget where you are going or what you are doing. These things happen momentary and then you feel ‘normal’ again.

This is all caused by a fluctuation in your vibrational rate, which itself is caused by your body adapting to energetic variations; both within and external. While you may not notice a momentary vibrational variation in your elbow or your stomach, you will notice it in your mind and the senses that feed into your mind. Thus the reason for these symptoms manifesting at this time.

Grounding always helps by assisting the body to dissipate energies down into Mother Earth. Meditation helps because stilling the mind and limiting sensory input allows the mind to adapt. Water also helps with flow by assisting to conduct energy flow.

Most of all, whatever you are doing and whenever you do it, try to give your full attention to the task at hand.

May you be blessed, always. xo

I just need to integrate these energies

We are in an integration period. After a mass of energetic inflow, the energies are now doing their thing … integrating, upgrading, transmuting.

You may feel a bit lethargic, tired, groggy or dizzy. When you feel like you are dragging your feet, do not beat yourself up for not bolting out of the 2016 gates. If this integration process leads to an internal dialog of challenging long held beliefs and ideals, you may also be feeling some uneasiness in the region of the Solar Plexus chakra. You can serve yourself best by acknowledging what is going on inside but not engaging with it. Let go and observe as a third person. Trust the process.

Remember you are an energetic being, not a battery. Energy is flowing through you. Integrate it, then ground it into Mother Earth. Drink water, be in nature, walk barefoot on the ground. Use the elements to cleanse – fire (Sun), air (wind), water and earth.

Empaths and the Collective Consciousness

protection vs grounding text

However you define it, many of us identify as empaths, in that we pick up on the energies [and emotions] of others.

A year ago I created this graphic and an article to explain the difference between protection (lessening the impact of other people’s energies and emotions in the first place) and grounding (getting rid of those energies picked up in our auric fields that are not ours) as I was seeing many empaths totally open to other’s energies and being adversely affected.

A year later, what I am seeing is people being impacted by the collective consciousness, which at this present time is being bombarded with negative messages, designed to create further division amongst communities, to put people in a place of fear and thus be receptive to certain agendas. Team dark is certainly working overtime at the moment.

For an empath, the impact of energies of the collective consciousness are no different to the energies of an individual, except it is harder to detach from because by our nature we are wired into the collective consciousness, being part of it and it being part of us.

Protection and grounding techniques are helpful. It is also beneficial to spend time in nature, and reduce exposure to mass media in particular.

Please use discernment with all messages and information, and consider the intent behind any such messages. Love is always the answer.

Blessings. xo
